IVINS, Utah -+ Video – Supporters of the new Tuacahn Arts Center in Ivins were invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday afternoon. The newest addition to Tuacahn contains a much larger gift shop, restaurant, restrooms, child care center and dance and music studios for students. The two story, 19,000 square foot building is a welcome site not only to those students who attend Tuacahn High School, but for performers and those who come to see performances at the Tuacahn Amphitheatre.

The new building and furnishings cost around 4.5 million dollars and was funded by the RAP tax (recreation, arts and parks tax) and other donations. The school will be able to house about 50 more students as a result of the new space.
