ST. GEORGE, Utah + Video – It’s a philosophy in schools that is going viral. Hands on active learning is blossoming among students who are excelling in their classrooms these days. The younger they learn, the better the chance they have of going into a profession that they may even be teaching someday.

High ability learners at Crimson View Elementary School in St. George recently went on a field trip that opened their eyes to the creation of fused glass art. The students were shown the process before designing their own special projects.

The artist they learned from has her own reasons for sharing her talents.
