ST. GEORGE, Utah - + Video – (DIXIE STATE UNIVERSITY) His style is unlike most professors on campus. But his sense of humor helps students to understand difficult concepts. DSU’s Assistant Professor of Philosophy, Dr. John Wolfe allows his busy students time to reflect on what they have learned before starting on their mid-term papers.

Dr. Wolfe believes that Active Learning, Active Life must also allow time for an “active mind” in order to be successful in the future. He uses Ancient Greek Philosophers like Plato to relay his messages. The students are challenged to think about future situations in which they might apply this ancient philosophy.
