ST. GEORGE, Utah - + Video – After spending nearly 40 years in the old St. George historical courthouse, the St. George Area Chamber of Commerce now has a new building to call it’s own. It’s taken a little more than two years to make it happen, but it’s finally here. Chamber members dedicated the new building at it’s new location at 136 North 100 East, in St. George Thursday. The new building is just northeast, right across the street from the old location off St. George Boulevard.

It took about $300,000 to refurbish the 4,000 square foot building owned by the City of St. George. The Chamber will lease the building from the city for at least 10 years. However, there is no monthly payment. The remodeling costs were all paid up front.

Business owners and members of the chamber gathered for a special tour and ribbon cutting event.
